Rick was great at explaining what needed to be done to the roof. He went up on the roof in the attic. He took pictures on the roof of all the damage. He showed us all the material that would be used. They came and put a tarp over the damaged area the very next day. They were there within a couple of weeks. Took two days to fix the roof do the cleanup and fix and clean the gutters. They even cleaned up a the leaves around the house. They go above and beyond.

Excellent customer service from the standpoint of letting us know that we were still under warranty and great closed loop communication via email. Workers were nice and tidied things up. Only reason for 4 star is that after the repair there was still a minor leak. That being said, they promptly said that they would come out to review the repair and fix whatever leaks remained.
FRS Roofing Inc. stripped my old roof, replaced all 8 of our 30+ yr. old Velux skylights, repointed & recapped my chimney; and did a fabulous and professional job installing: 8 new Velux skylights, a new Architectural shingle roof, and gutters.Their workmanship and professionalism is second-to-none. The whole experience with them was great, they are all very respectful and very polite. FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed.The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project.An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost.There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof.Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!
After 2 storms, a bunch of shingles blew off my roof. Got quotes from multiple companies for a roof repair and while FRS wasn’t the cheapest by far, they offered a more reasonable solution and confirmed my suspicions about some of the other quotes I got. They were very professional and explained in detail why some of these other companies were creating unnecessary issues for a bigger payout. One major issue wasn’t an issue at all (ie solar panel people installed it correctly. One other company wanted to cut it all back and redo everything and charge 3x the amount. All I wanted was a hole closed) and the other issue was purely aesthetic. Other companies came across as sales people, while FRS came across as technicians. Additionally, they saw the risk of leaving things be and offered multiple solutions to hold thing over, but ended up bumping me to the front of the list before it rained, truly respecting customer needs.
We have replaced roof shingles two years ago using a different roofing company but leaks around a pipe just kept coming back and they couldn't fix it. We called FRS roofing and Mike came within a couple of days of my first call and assess the need. Within the same day, they gave an estimate and quickly scheduled a roof repair. They replaced the old wood panel and put a nice pipe flashing around it. They are very professional, punctual and pleasant in person and on phone calls and we wish we worked with them from the start! Highly recommend.
FRS is the one to choose for your next roof. We had some tree damage in June from a storm and called them for an estimate. We ended up replacing the whole roof. The entire process was top notch. Rick came out and brought his ladder and took a video of the damage as well as other areas of concern by the lower chimney.You will be pleased with the excellent work. They came in a few weeks and stripped and repaired underlayment and shingled with better venting.I give them five stars for work and feel like price was fair as well.Thanks FRS
